This is a lovely, quirky, clean and tidy family home. The property is beautiful; some low ceilings and beams, some wonky floors but no more than would be expected from a building of this age. It was warm and cosy but easy to cool down for those who needed it. The log fires gave an alternate to the main heating when it got chilly in the evenings. The gardens are lovely; well maintained and well stocked with country garden planting. Two of the bathrooms are accessed though bedrooms so you do need to think about who shares with whom. We asked for single duvets on the king sized bed and this was easily accommodated. We found that we did need to boost the hot water particularly when we all wanted showers/baths in the evening but it was easy to do. The kitchen is well equipped with crockery, serving and baking equipment although more cutlery would be helpful. It would help to have access to wardrobes/shelving to store clothes although hanging rails were provided. Thank you
